Hey Friends!

I'm back with another brief update! Thanks everyone who's filled out the backer surveys! It's very helpful for us as we're preparing for fulfillment!

Reminder to Fill Out Surveys

If you haven't filled out your survey yet, please check your email. This should have come from "Backerkit." We need your survey filled out to know where we'll send your backer rewards!

If you are a pre-order customer who ordered directly through backerkit.com, you will not receive a survey, as we have everything we need from you.

Note for Private Apple Email Addresses

If you use a private apple email for your Kickstarter account, there is a good chance you didn't get your survey email. We've found that most people missing their survey have used a privaterelay.appleid.com address. These, for some reason, do not work on Backerkit's end to send you surveys. 

Please DM us on Kickstarter if you need to get your survey sent to your primary email. 

Locking Orders Soon!

We'd love to lock orders this week. This will allow us to move to the next stage of fulfillment, which I know everyone is eager for! Right now, the goal is to start shipping our Tan Camera Slings by Monday, April 17th.

Black Camera Sling Backers, I am pleased to share that everything is still on schedule and moving along. I had a chat with our production manager, and he said things are moving according to schedule!

Surveys are Sent! Fulfillment prep work is going strong!

Hey folks! Just a quick update here: surveys have been sent to everyone! 

In my last update, I mentioned that surveys would be sent to Tan backers first and Black backers later down the road. However, I realized the other day that Backerkit handles surveys differently, so everyone will receive their survey now! 

We would love for everyone to fill out their survey as soon as possible, including Black Sling Backers.

Next, we will lock orders for Tan Sling backers and their addresses a few days before we are ready to ship. The same process will happen for Black Sling backers once we are closer to fulfillment in June/July!

Fulfillment prep is moving along smoothly!

Everything else is moving along smoothly. We have started accumulating a mountain of shipping boxes with Camera Slings, which are ready for final packaging before they are shipped!

We are so excited to be at this stage, and we want to thank you again for believing in us. We can't wait to get these Camera Slings in your hands, friends!

Hey folks, Happy Spring! 

Here in Kentucky we've had a few warm days, but we're still waiting for things to warm up enough to really get into the outdoors and enjoy the change of the seasons. 

As promised I'm back with another update, we're getting close to starting the fulfillment process, and I just wanted to share where we're at on timelines!

Since my last update, we ordered all our packaging materials, which was the final key thing we needed to get started with the fulfillment process. This means we'll start shipping our Tan Camera Slings within the next two weeks!

Our immediate next step is to issue surveys to you from Backerkit, this is the tool we're using to help us fulfill your rewards. We need to make sure you fill this out, or we won't know where to send your rewards to! Once we have those filled out, we'll lock addresses and start to send you your rewards. Please watch for these surveys by the end of the week!

Black Camera Sling backers  

We placed our order for Black Camera Slings before the campaign ended to get a head start on production. We're on target for June/July deliver to our workshop, and once I know more we'll be able to share a firmer date on when we'll be able to fulfill. Our plan is to turn them around immediately once they arrive to get them in your hands as soon as possible!

Please note: If you ordered a Black Sling, we're going to hold off on your survey until we're a little closer to fulfillment of those, so that we can lock in addresses at the closest possible date to shipping these rewards!

Hey Friends, that’s a wrap!

Wow, 685% Funded! I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU! This was an incredible campaign, and we are so glad you came along for the ride.

On a personal note, this project was two years in the making. Truly my blood, sweat and tears went into bringing this to life. I had a lot of help along the way, but at the end of the day you all truly were the ones to bring this across the finish line. We did it! 🙌

I am sure most of you are wondering “What’s next”? Glad you asked!

We’ll use Backerkit to gather your shipping information and let you make any last changes or additions to your pledge. We plan to send that out within the next few weeks (we will update you when they go out.)

When you receive the survey from Backerkit, you must fill this out if you want to receive your rewards, otherwise we wont know exactly what you backed or where to send it : ) that will also be the time where you can make changes to your rewards. Similar to a shopping cart, you can add additional products, or make any changes you need to.

We’ll post again as soon as we have more updates to share, likely a few weeks from now, and then beyond that at very least monthly to check in. 

In terms of delivery, we’re on track to deliver on time, we’ve got all the wheels in motion already as far as production and fulfillment planning goes!

Seriously we're so stoked to have a growing number of you backing the Camera Sling! In this update we just wanted to share some updates and again continue to extend the invitation for an open dialog about the Camera Sling, it's features and any questions you have.

Calling All Questions:

We want more questions! Let us know what your kit will look like and if you have any questions about what you are planning to carry in your Camera Sling! In case it's helps, we have this in our FAQ, but the dimensions are as follows: 12.5"x8.5"x4"

We had a great question about getting a better visual of each of the add-ons we're offering. Add-ons are a way to add other products we sell at a discount to your pledge and only pay once for shipping! So that's what you'll find in this last video!
