The wait is over folks!

Black Camera Slings arrived at our workshop today! Just a few days ahead of our July shipment commitment! 🙌

We know you all are eager to get these in your hands, so we immediately unloaded them from the truck and started packing them to ship to you! You'll be receiving your shipping tracking info over the next few days. 

This was the big order after our Kickstarter ended, so we received a bunch more Tan as well as a brand new product we can't wait to share with you next month! :) 

I know so many of you've been patiently awaiting this update, thank you for your trust and confidence in us to deliver this product to you! We can't wait to get these Camera Slings in your hands and see where you take them!

Arrival At Port! 🚢

Hey friends, it's been about a month since my last update, and as promised I wanted to touch base again with some great news. 

 The Black Camera Slings have arrived at port in NY!

This means we're one giant step closer to getting these Black Camera Slings in your hands, I know y'all have waited patiently for these, we're close! 

We anticipate having these in our hand by first week of July at the latest.  We have everything we need ready to get these out the door, so once we're in possession we anticipate a quick turn around! We'll definitely send another update when shipping starts!

In the meantime, Tan Camera Sling backers, thanks for all the love and support, we love seeing your posts on socials and all the love the Camera Sling is getting on your shoots!  Keep them coming! 🙏

Nearly 400 Tan Camera Slings Shipped!

Yep, you read that right! We've just about crossed over the 400 bags shipped mark! 😱

By now, many of you have received your Camera Slings, and it's been pure joy to see everyone's response and enthusiasm for these bags so far! Keep tagging us and let us know your first impressions.  🙌 

Quick note: We still have a good handful of you who've not completed your survey. These should be in your email from "backerkit".  Please send us an email hello @ cleversupply.co so we can get you sorted if you are having issues with your survey!

So what's next? Black Camera Slings!

Many of you have been patiently waiting for your Black Camera Slings, and I am pleased to share these are on their way! As of last week they have left port at the factory, this means we're still on target for our time frame of delivery for Late June/Early July.

New Straps are here and Tan Camera Slings are headed out the door!

Hey friends, I'm back again with some exciting news!

Our factory got the replacement straps to us lightening quick. We received them yesterday and stopped everything to get them on your bags and then immediately out the door! Tan Camera Sling backers can expect to receive tracking numbers this week and next!

Also, Black Camera Sling backers, I received word from the factory that they are doing final work on your bags, and these are due to ship in the next two weeks. This means we're on schedule! While I don't have a firm ETA yet, I did want to at least share things are going smoothly here! These bags will travel by ship from Vietnam to New York, then by rail line to us in KY, at that point we'll aim to turn them around as soon as possible. June - July is still our timeframe! 

Thanks everyone for the patience and for bearing with the delay, hopefully we can get these to you all even faster than anticipated! 

We're thrilled to get you these Camera Slings, and can't wait to see the journey's you take them on!

Update on Tan Camera Sling Ship Dates

Hey Friends, Todd here.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to you for believing in our project and supporting us on our journey to bring the Camera Sling to life! Your trust in our vision has truly made all the difference, and we couldn't have done it without you.

As we prepared to ship out the first few Camera Slings to backers, one of our testers reported to us an issue with their Sling where the strap connects to the body of the bag. This is a surprise discovery as I’ve used my personal Camera Sling daily for close to a year now and not run into this issue, nor can I spot any evidence of wear. Additionally we’ve had these bags in the hands of 20 other testers over the past months with no issues.

That being said, there's a possibility that the Camera Sling I planned to send you may be affected by this newly discovered issue, and it's important that we’re transparent with you about this.

While I believe there is a good chance that your bag will never experience the issue we discovered, we're going to act in an abundance of caution here to make sure it is 100% reliable for you. My top priority is to ensure that we deliver to you a product that indeed does stand the test of time, and is a joy to use with your camera gear.

So here’s what we’re doing, over the past few days we've reworked the design of this component to overbuild it and ensure its reliability. Additionally we're testing with a formal stress test facility and we've begun production on this replacement part. Once the straps are complete, the factory will air express them to us, and we’ll make the swap on all the bags.

This means we'll need to delay Tan Camera Sling shipments by about three weeks, based on the estimate the factory has given me for the delivery of the replacement parts. I know this is disappointing news, as we already sent some of you your tracking numbers, and promised to all Tan Sling backers that we'd be delivering this month. I am sorry we were not able to keep this commitment.

Black Camera Sling Backers, we were able to get this update implemented into your bags, as production is ongoing.  We will not need to replace anything for you, and the timeline for delivery is still on track!

We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to troubleshoot the situation. It's supporters like you that make our dream a reality, and we remain steadfast in our mission to deliver the best Camera Sling possible.
